A-T Solutions has the highest concentration of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and improvised explosive device (IED) defeat experts outside of the U.S. government. These subject matter experts work with instructional designers and curriculum developers to produce courses tailored specifically to the educational needs of maritime responders, providing training solutions to current and anticipated tactical, operational, and strategic threats. Our full life cycle learning management system tracks participant achievement of learning objectives, and we continuously gather participant feedback to evaluate and update course content.
Our Underwater Hazardous Device (UHD) Search course is intended to provide maritime security training to federal, military, and state and local maritime responders, such as Public Safety Divers, SWAT teams, port security personnel, and marine boat crews. Instruction is equal parts classroom-based and practical pier-side diving. Upon course completion participants will be able to:
- Identify underwater and maritime threats (limpet mines and special attack charges)
- Recognize underwater risk management
- Perform ship lockout/tagout procedures
- Conduct effective underwater searches to:
- Locate, mark, and identify suspect threats
- Make follow-on recommendations
