Systematic Approach to Online Learning

In addition to classroom and field training instruction, A-T Solutions offers self-directed online learning for working adults in the military, public safety and national security. Partnered with American Military University (AMU) and the American Public University (APU) System, we developed the first and only accredited, online associate’s degree program designed specifically for EOD/bomb disposal technicians. We strive to ensure the educational needs of those who serve around the world with professional growth opportunities in their chosen field.

Targeting the needs of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) community, these courses are based on the systematic “Addie” methodology: analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate. The EOD program provides an Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies with a concentration in EOD. In addition, any undergraduate student may take the 6 EOD-specific courses for a Certificate in EOD. Courses and textbooks are continually reviewed and revised to keep them current and relevant.

Delivered to Operators by Operators

We deliver instruction the way you want it--at your facility or ours. Instead of classroom training, we can bring our staff directly to your organization. Our Mobile Training Team (MTT) saves you time and money--you don’t have to pay for the cost of our training facilities and participants don’t have to travel to our facility, saving the expense of their travel. In fact, we provide over 200 mobile training courses to one of our largest clients, training more than 7,000 Warfighters and saving them an estimated 16,000 days in travel.

Homemade Explosives (HME) Course - Our HME course is delivered by Dr. Sidney Alford at his training quarry in the UK. As a world renowned expert in the field of explosive chemistry, explosives and their applications, Dr. Alford will be able to answer any questions that the students might have.

Classroom Courses - Our classroom is located at our headquarters facility and provides smaller groups the opportunity to join together to form a class. This solution is ideal for the smaller teams that require the training but cannot support a full class.

DHS Approved Courses - Training and Exercise Integration / Training Operations (TEI/TO), formerly the Office of Grants & Training (G&T) Training Division under the Department of Homeland Security's Preparedness Directorate provides tailored training to enhance the capacity of state and local jurisdictions to prepare for, prevent, deter, respond to, and recover safely and effectively from potential manmade and natural catastrophic events, including terrorism. TEI/TO training conforms to nationally recognized standards and adheres to the principles of both adult learning theory, including problem-based learning, and Instructional System Design (ISD). In addition, training developed under the auspices of TEI/TO undergoes a rigorous validation process before delivery and is continuously assessed while training is delivered to the public. TEI/TO training is increasingly being tested and evaluated through state and local exercises to enhance further development of training courses.
