Mini-Demolition Remote Firing Device

A-T Solutions has teamed up with MAZ Zengrange Ltd, a UK-based company that designs, develops and manufactures remote firing systems, to provide systems integration, training and support for the Mini-Demolition Remote Firing Device (DRFD).

The Mini-DRFD is an extremely safe, high performance, remote initiation system designed to command detonate munitions and explosives using UHF radio signals and time delay. Manufactured to meet the highest military standards and functioning in a logical and user-friendly manner, the Mini-DRFD consists of one transmitter and any number of permanent and expendable receiver and includes specialized accessories that expand the capabilities of the system. 

Full Kit Swap-Out Program

As the sole provider for inspection and repair support for the Mini-DRFD, our goal is to ensure EOD teams retain a fully operational remote firing capability. To achieve this objective, ATS has implemented a full kit swap-out program. Due to safety considerations, the Mini-DRFD receivers are Group- and Country-coded to a specific transmitter. If the transmitter or any receiver is deemed inoperable, the entire kit must be returned for inspection and repair.

Before reporting a problem with the Mini-DRFD, make sure you have followed all the procedures in the latest version of the operator's manual correctly and that good batteries are being used. The current version of the Mini-DRFD Operator's Manual is: June 2008, Revision 1
