A-T Solutions designed the A-T Simulator as an electronics design and teaching simulation software tool to address the particular requirements of the bomb technician/explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) communities. The A-T Simulator models, simulates, and animates real-world devices, as well as electronic and IED components in an easy-to-use schematic capture format. This allows for interactive training and experimentation on the computer screen with immediate feedback to show the user whether the design is valid and would be operational.
The A-T Simulator includes real-time animation of detonators, radio control systems (dual tone multi-frequency [DTMF], personal mobile radios) and more. The A-T Simulator is also used for device exploitation/intelligence analysis, technical reporting, and display of the functional configuration of recovered and/or terrorist-designed IEDs. It is especially useful as a briefing/explanatory tool for the non-EOD and nontechnical community including senior staff or juries.
