Purpose: A-T Solutions (ATS) has
been identified by the manufacturer, MAS Zengrange, as the sole provider for
inspection and repair support for the Mini-DRFD. Our goal is to ensure EOD teams
retain a fully operational remote firing capability. To achieve this objective,
ATS has implemented a full kit swap-out program to keep an operational Mini-DRFD
kit in your hands. Due to safety considerations, the Mini-DRFD receivers are
Group and Country coded to a specific transmitter. If the tramsmitter or any
receiver is deemed inoperable, the entire kit must be returned for inspection
and repair.
Instructions: Please, follow these instructions:
1. Before reporting a problem with the Mini-DRFD, ensure that the procedures in
the operator's manual have been followed correctly and that good batteries are
being used.
WARNING -DO NOT open the transmitter or receiver cases. This
will break the environmental seals and may cause additional damage.
2. Complete Parts 1, 2, and 3 of this form, providing as much information as
possible, then click the "Submit" button to send the request to one of our
repair technicians.
3. One of our technicians will contact you by email or telephone to discuss the
problems you've encountered and to verify that replacement of the
Mini-DRFD kit is warranted. DO NOT ship your kit to us until AFTER you have
received a replacement kit.
4. A new Mini-DRFD kit will be shipped to your unit as a replacement issue.
Additionally, shipping documents and instructions for return of the inoperable
kit will be provided. It is important that you return all components of the
inoperable kit for repair and return to service. |
