A-T Solutions and Tier Tech International Accepted into DHS Mentor Protégé Program

Vienna, Va., March 1, 2010 – A-T Solutions, an industry-leading global intelligence and anti- and counterterrorism professional services firm based in the Tysons Corner area of Vienna, Va., and Tier Tech International, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business based in McLean, Va., today announced that their mentor protégé agreement was accepted by the Department of Homeland Security Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization.

The DHS mentor-protégé program is designed to motivate and encourage large prime contractors to provide mutually beneficial developmental assistance to small businesses classified as disadvantaged, HUBZone, service-disabled, veteran-owned, , or women-owned. The program is also designed to improve the performance of DHS contracts and subcontracts, foster the establishment of long-term business relationships between DHS large prime contractors and small business subcontractors, and strengthen subcontracting opportunities and accomplishments at DHS.
