Mr. Power has over 25 years of project management and consulting experience in the Federal, DoD IT and Training arenas. He entered the workforce from graduate school as a software engineer for Delex Systems, Inc. where he designed and developed tactical warfare training & cruise missile simulations for the US and Allied Navy/Air Force forces. Subsequently, John supported the FAA on the Advanced Qualification Program, which transformed aircrew qualification standards for commercial (Part 121 and Part 135) operators. Specifically, Mr Power worked with Flight Standards directors to restructure their training programs to introduce modern training technologies, programs and simulation while increasing flight line performance and proficiency standards. Utlimately, Mr Power ran a large management and IT practice (400 associates) for Perot Systems whose accounts included the US Air Force, DoD IG, and global research for NIH’s National Insititue for Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).
Mr Power joined A-T Solutions two years ago, where he oversees the technology-related programs across the company. This includes the Mobile Counter IED Trainer (MCIT) program. MCIT is a JIEDDO-sponsored RDT&E effort. It has operational sites at Ft Bragg and Camp Pendleton. Additional clients have included the Biometric Task Force, NGIC’s Anti-Armor Task Force and cover constructive simulation (VBS/2), data integration, distance learning management systems and performance metrics collection and analysis.
