David Pekoske is the Group President of A-T Solutions National Security Group.
Prior to joining the company in 2010, he was the Vice Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard, a $10.5 billion organization with a workforce of more than 85,000 people. In this key leadership position within the Department of Homeland Security, Mr. Pekoske was second in command, Chief Operating Officer, and Component Acquisition Executive of the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG).
Previously, he was the Commander of the USCG’s Pacific Area and Defense Forces West, responsible for all USCG operations in the combined 73 million square miles of the Pacific, Arctic, and Antarctic Oceans. As a Flag Officer, Mr. Pekoske also served as Assistant Commandant for Operations at USCG Headquarters and as Commander of the First USCG District (Northeastern United States)/Maritime Defense Zone One, headquartered in Boston, MA.
He has two master’s degrees, including a master’s of business administration from the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a master’s of public administration from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. Mr. Pekoske is a graduate of the USCG Academy, with a bachelor’s degree in ocean engineering.
Mr. Pekoske serves as Chairman of the Board for InfraGard National Members Alliance, a private sector/FBI partnership with more than 40,000 members representing all 16 critical infrastructures. He is a member of the adjunct faculty at American University.
