David Pekoske is the Group President of A-T Solutions Global Security Solutions business unit.
Prior to joining the company in 2010, he was the Vice Commandant of the U. S. Coast Guard. In this key leadership position within the Department of Homeland Security, Mr. Pekoske was second in command, Chief Operating Officer, and Component Acquisition Executive of the Coast Guard, a $10.5 billion organization with a workforce of more than 85,000 people.
Previously, he was the Commander of the Coast Guard’s Pacific Area and Coast Guard Defense Forces West, responsible for all Coast Guard operations in the combined 73 million square miles of the Pacific, Arctic, and Antarctic Oceans. As a Flag Officer, Mr. Pekoske also served as Assistant Commandant for Operations at Coast Guard Headquarters and as Commander of the First Coast Guard District (Northeastern United States)/Maritime Defense Zone One, headquartered in Boston, MA.
He has two master’s degrees including a master of business administration from the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Master of Public Administration from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. Mr. Pekoske is a graduate of the U. S. Coast Guard Academy with a bachelor’s degree in Ocean Engineering.
