Kevin Lutz joined A-T Solutions in October 2009 and serves as the Group President for Warfighter Solutions. He retired as a Colonel from the U.S. Army in September of 2009 and is a highly-respected and well-known expert in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), counter-improvised explosive devices (C-IED) operations and weapons technical intelligence (WTI). Mr. Lutz has more than 26 years of extensive experience in all facets of the Department of Defense EOD, C-IED/insurgency, combating weapons of mass destruction, and WTI policy, doctrine, planning, operations, training, program, and resource management. He commanded at the brigade and battalion levels and served three combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. Mr. Lutz also served as an EOD Group Commander from 2006 to 2009 in Fort Gillem, GA, and Baghdad, Iraq. Mr. Lutz’s significant military accomplishments include establishing and commanding twice Combined Joint Task Force Troy (C-IED Brigade) in support of Multi-National Corps Iraq; assisting in the creation of the Army Improvised Explosive Device Task Force from concept to inception, which became the foundation of the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization; and assisting in the formation of the Weapons Analytic Team of the Joint Intelligence Task Force for Combating Terrorism at the Defense Intelligence Agency. In 2005, Mr. Lutz earned a master’s in defense and strategic studies at the U. S. Marine Corps University, Quantico, VA. He also earned a master’s of science in logistics management in 1996 at the Florida Institute of Technology, in Melbourne, FL. |
