John G. Castles II,
Executive Vice President for Global Security Solutions

Mr. John Castles is the A-TS Executive Vice President for Global Security Solutions and Intelligence Program Executive for multiple organizations throughout DOD as well as other Federal, State, and Local organizations. Mr. Castles possesses 23 years of advanced expertise in leadership, combat, tactics, Intelligence, and operations in the U.S. Army. With seven combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan leading conventional and special operations organizations of up to 4,000 soldiers, Mr. Castles has held esteemed positions such as Commander of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, and Commander of the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. Having coordinated and executed C-IED and counterinsurgency operations in both theaters, Mr. Castles brings over three years of deployed combat experience of what is required to synchronize ground and air operations with enablers and processes to collect, exploit, and disseminate Intelligence to both facilitate the tactical targeting process as well as enable the higher-end collection and exploitation capabilities at the operational and strategic level. He holds a M.A. in History from the University of Alabama, a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
